I'm pretty sure I do something like what you're implying back home, so consider me a tentative yes. I'm Jean, and there are several people here from my world who may share a similar interest.

How do you know Sophie?

She decided to help with the trolley repair. We've been talking since.

I'm glad she's making friends.

And your relation to her?

[ That's complicated? The wife of her mother's boyfriend (and, sometimes, more than that)? The mother of now two sons Sophie's been involved with? Someone not even currently on Earth in Sophie's time and place for the last year? ]

At this point, one of the last two adults standing at the Mansion, and the one who has been in Etraya the longest. In the length of time I've been with them, a lot of other things—one of the first students, a teacher, a headmistress. The list goes on.

Mainly at this point, I think it's playing cat wrangler for too many twenty-somethings.
Though I do trust most of them to keep themselves alive. For the most part.
